ROBERTO VERINO P/V 2018 EN EL CORTE INGLÉS

  • por

Hola chicas!

Muchos besos!!!

Hello girls!

I’m back, it has been a wonderful trip and very soon I will share with
you my guide on the same, as I always do, but today I want to continue
with my review about fashion shows of El Corte Inglés on Uría street
of Oviedo.

On this occasion I show you the outfits Roberto Verino brand proposes for this spring/summer 2018.

The
collection, called Dream Island, is inspired by a trip of the designer
to the island of Lanzarote, and has been based in part on a
collaboration with the César Manrique Foundation of some of his
paintings of the series «Atlantic Fauna», which have
been stamped on some of the garments as you will have occasion to see in the photographs.

The underwater life of the island is also very important, which has
favored the presence of sequins or glitter as a decorative element of
the garments, with the intention of evoking the reflection of the water
in the scales of the fish.

As
far as trends are concerned, it’s influenced by three variants: The
«newprogressive», understood as a state of mind, a positive energy that
helps to load our batteries through the force of color, which motivates
the existence of some very intense tones and others
more relaxed; the
folk tendency, present in the prints and the elaboration of the fabrics
with graphic forms and in an artisanal way (printed silks, winks to
Africa and Eastern countries);
and a vintage or nostalgic evocation, a way to reinterpret the
resources of the 60s, 70s and 80s, straight silhouettes or lady as well
as glitter effect, navy, ribs, oversize or high shot in the pants.

As usual at the firm, its identity stamp is present, the Roberto Verino colors: red, white and black.

The collaborating makeup firm was Clinique, who achieved some very
vibrant looks and showed us the benefits of their new treatment with
vitamin C, with which they also gave us and I am willing to try!

It’s difficult to choose, but the look of the denim dress with the wide-brimmed hat, is without a doubt my favorites!!

I hope you liked it!!

Lots of kisses!!!
